Mind-blowing hospitality! Stayed up late for us, gave us snacks, huge clean room. Simple but nice breakfast, good parking. Beautiful village. EXCELLENT value! Loved it!

Staff were welcoming & most helpful. My room was comfortable & relaxing. The design & furnishings of the public spaces were most attractive & matched well with the historic architecture of the hotel & the town.
My visit was mid season & the restaurant was only open over the weekend for dinner, would have liked to have eaten in the restaurant. I imagine it would be open during the week in high season. The staff were most helpful & recommended a very nice restaurant nearby.

We have visited the hotel and Sepuldova before and wanted to come back. An ideal stopping off point between the Costas and eg. Santander. Sepuldova is a stunning medieval town in an equally stunning location atop a gorge through which runs the River Duraton .Ideal for walking and relaxing. The hotel is perfectly situated within the town walls. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, large with 3 french-windows opening onto Juliet balconies and possessed a fridge, and aircon. There is free wifi. Apart from one or two minor shortcomings we would definitely return.
If I was being really 'picky' I would say that maybe the bathrooms could with a little updating. Breakfast was Spanish basic...very basic! But you are in Spain.

This was a really well designed hotel with lovely staff. The building had a lot of character and the bathrooms were up to date modern with free wifi.Parking was very near to the hotel and had surveillance, also free. The hotel was a very short walk to the main plaza.

The helpfulness and service from the staff was excellent and the local village was a delight place to wander round, take in the ambience and simply relax.
Unfortunately, the wifi system did not work in our room and the associated restaurant was closed for holidays. We always book hotels that advertise themselves as having restaurants, so it is very disappointing when one turns up to find the restaurant is closed for a week's holiday!

Lovely Ancient Buildings and Peaceful Nature Reserve
We enjoyed exploring the beautiful ancient buildings and the peaceful nature reserve close to our hotel. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. the hotel is located in a convenient area close to free parking.
we found the locals to be unfriendly and unapproachable during our visit. We suggest researching restaurants in advance and being prepared for a cold reception from the locals.

Excellent staff, good location(a bit hair raising due to the cobbled streets if like us vou are on a fully laden motorbike ) . Only stayed one night but received a gift from receptionist on departure. Lovely little touches like welcoming bottled water in room.
The well acclaimed restaurant was closed.

The hotel's attention to detail was outstanding, especially considering the price. The breakfast was superb and the staff was very friendly. The spacious and clean rooms were perfect for solo travelers, with a comfy bed and excellent bathroom. The location was ideal for travelers who want to avoid Madrid and the roads around the hotel were perfect for motorbikes.
Nothing to be said.

Excellent professional staff, perfect English, very helpful. Out of ten nights, spent in Spain, it was, probably, one of the best stay. Very clean, newly renovated.
